Moxifloxacin is a very effective medication for the treatment of acute(short term) sinusitis(infection that leads to inflammation of the sinuses).
In terms of clinical and bacteriological (relating to bacteria) response, Moxifloxacin is equivalent to Amoxicillin for the treatment of acute(short term) bacterial sinusitis(infection leading to inflammation of the sinuses).
