Terbinafine is used to treat certain types of fungal infections (for example, of the fingernail or toenail). Terbinafine works by stopping the growth of fungus. Terbinafine belongs to a class of medicines known as antifungals.
Take this medication with or without meals.
Take this medication as scheduled.
Avoid alcohol during therapy.

This medicine is used for the treatment of fungal infections of the skin, hair, nails including yeast infections
of the skin.

contraindicated in patients with hypersensitivity to terbinafine.
Store this medicine at controlled room temperature depending on the medicine type and manufacturer. Keep the medicine away from excessive light, moisture, and children.
This medicine is used orally with or without food, as prescribed by the doctor.
This medicine may be used by pregnant females if no safer alternate is available. This medicine is not recommended for nursing females.
Make sure to complete the course of the medicine to prevent recurrence of infection.
