Provate-s Lotion

Description

Provate-S is an anti-inflammatory Lotion containing Betamethason Dripopionate and Salicylic Acid. Provate-S is a long-acting corticosteroid that has anti-inflammatory and immunosuppressive characteristics. It can be applied topically to treat inflammatory problems, such as eczema allergies, dermatitis, asthma, rash etc. This medicine works by inhibiting the flow of chemical compounds in blood that cause the body to swell, redden, and itch.

Directions for use

• Hands should be washed and dried. Clean and dry the afflicted area before applying the medicine. Spread a thin layer of this medicine to the area affected and lightly rub it in, as instructed by your doctor, usually 1-2 times per day.
• Unless your doctor tells you to, do not bandage, wrap, or cover the affected area.
• If you are taking this prescription as a lotion, give it a good shake before each dose.
• Unless you are using Provate-S to treat your hands, wash your hands after applying it. Avoid getting Provate-S in your eyes while applying it near your eyes, since this might aggravate or cause glaucoma.
• This medicine should only be used for the recommended duration and dosage. Do not use for longer.

Storage

Store at room temperature away from direct heat and sunlight. Keep it out of the reach of children and pets.

Precautions

• For topical use only.
• Must only be used for the prescribed duration.
• Inform your doctor about your medical history before taking Betamethasone
• Dipropionate, particularly of impaired blood circulation and immune system disorders, before using this medicine.
• If the region to be treated has a sore or an infection, do not use it.
• Using corticosteroid medicines like Provate-S for an extended period or on large areas of skin can occasionally make it increasingly challenging for the body to manage physical stress.
• Consult your doctor if you are using Provate-S or have taken it within the last few months before undergoing surgery or emergency care.
• Do not put Provate-S in your nose or mouth.
• In case of contact with the eyes, wash with plenty of water.

When not to use

Provate-S is not recommended for patients who are allergic to this, other steroids, or any of the ingredients in this product.

• Irritation
• Itching
• Stinging
• Dryness
• Redness of the skin
• Skin color changes

Pregnancy

Please use in pregnant females only if necessary.

Lactation

Please use in nursing females only if necessary.
