Alzheimer’s Disease
This medicine is used in the symptomatic treatment of Alzheimer’s dementia or Parkinson’s disease.
Some patients taking this medicine may experience, asthenia (abnormal physical weakness), anorexia (eating disorder), dizziness, somnolence (unusual urge to sleep for long periods of time), abdominal pain, GI upset (stomach upset), sweating, malaise (the feeling of being ill), weight loss, tremor, headache, insomnia, respiratory infection or urinary tract infection. If you experience any of these symptoms please consult your doctor.

Research suggests that this medicine should not be used by women who are breastfeeding.
Please avoid driving when taking this medicine as it may affect your ability to drive.
Please consult your doctor before taking this medicine if you sick sinus syndrome (heart disorder), conduction defects (heart disorder), history or risk of GI ulceration (stomach ulcers), asthma, obstructive pulmonary disease (lung disease), bladder outflow obstruction (obstruction due to prostate enlargement), renal (kidney) or hepatic (liver) impairment.
This medicine should not be taken by patients who have severe liver impairment.
This medication is used for treatment of dementia (confusion) associated with Alzheimer’s and Parkinson’s disease. It does not cure the diseases but helps improve memory and ability to perform daily tasks.
Please store this medicine at room temperature (18-25 Celsius). Keep medicine away from excessive light, moisture, and children. Please do not flush medicines down the toilet. Please read the leaflet provided with the medicine for further storage guidance.
• You may feel drowsy after taking this medicine therefore avoid doing work requiring alertness e.g. driving after taking this medicine
