Duodart 0.5 Capsule is a medicine used to treat enlarged prostate in males; it frequently occurs in conditions such as Benign Prostatic Hyperplasia (BPH). The medicine works by decreasing the size of the enlarged prostate and relaxes the muscles of the prostate and urinary bladder.

Duodart also relieves the symptoms that commonly occur in BPH, including difficulty urinating, unsteady or obstructed urine flow, weak urine stream, pain and discomfort, and an increase in urinary frequency and urgency  (especially during the middle of the night).

However, this medicine does not treat prostate cancer, and should not be used in children and women.
