Bacterial Infections
This medicine is used to treat patients with superficial bacterial eye infections, adnexa infections (eye orbit, conjunctiva, and eyelids), and corneal ulcers (inflammation of a part of the eye).
The side effects of this medication include transient (temporary) irritation, skin rashes, and taste distubances.
This medicine should be used when needed. Consult your healthcare provider before taking this medication.
It is not known whether this medicine passes through breast milk. Consult your doctor before breastfeeding.
Before using this medicine, tell our doctor your medical history, especially of: allergy to this medicine, allergy to other quinolone antibiotics such as ofloxacin and levofloxacin.
This medicine is contraindicated in patients with soft contact lenses.
Please store the oral form of this medicine at room temperature (18-25 Celsius). Keep medicine away from children, and excessive light and moisture. Please read the leaflet provided with the medicine for further storage guidance.
This medicine is usually taken twice in a day. One in the morning and then at night.
Most people feel better within 48-72 hours and have minimal to no symptoms by the 7th day.
This medicine is only for use in the ear, avoid contact with the eyes, nose, and mouth. If this happens, rinse it with water.
