Bacterial infection
This medication is used to treat ocular (eye) bacterial infections.
The side effects of this medication include Transient (temporary) eye irritation.
There is no evidence that this medicine is harmful to pregnant females. Contact your healthcare provider for further details.
This medicine is contraindicated in lactating females.
Please avoid driving when taking this medicine as it may affect your ability to drive.
Please avoid consuming alcohol when taking this medicine.
Patients with hypersensitivity (allergy) to aminoglycosides (a class of antibiotics) are cautioned against the use of this medication. Consult your doctor for further details.

This medication is used for treatment of eye infections such as conjunctivitis. Please note it will only work for bacterial infections, not viral or fungal infections.

Please store this medicine at room temperature (20-25 Celsius) or refrigerate (below 10 C) depending on the medicine type and manufacturer. You may be required to close your eyes for 10-15 after using this medicine so tasks like driving should be avoided immediately after use. Rarely does this medicine cause vision changes.
This medicine should only be used during pregnancy if no safer alternate is available. The effects of this medicine on lactating females are unknown. Consult your health care provider before use of this medicine.
You may experience the following: • Eye redness • Eye/eyelid itching • Temporary blurring of visions for 5-10 minutes
• Remove contact lens before using this medicine • Inform doctor if condition doesn’t improve within 4-5 days • Avoid contact of applicator with eye
This medicine is used for treating arthritis (joint disorder), breathing problems, certain bowel disorders, blood/hormone/immune system disorders, certain eye and skin disorders, and various cancers. It can also be used as a test for disorder of the adrenal gland (Cushing’s syndrome).

1.Report to your physician any severe, persisting abdominal (stomach area) pain or black, tarry stools. 2.Take the steroid mediation after a full meal or with antacids, as this may help reduce irritation of the stomach. Steroids can increase your appetite (desire to eat food).

Steroids such as dexamethasone may cause you to gain excess weight. Steroids can cause an increase in appetite and a build up (retention) of fluid.
An overdose of dexamethasone is not expected to produce life threatening symptoms. Long term use of high doses can lead to thinning of skin, easy bruising, changes in body fat (especially in your face, neck, back, and waist), increased acne or facial hair, menstrual problems, impotence, or loss of interest in sex.
