Lynestrenol is a synthetic progestogen which has a similar action to the female hormone progesterone. It is used for the treatment of menstrual disorders caused due to a deficiency of this hormone in the body. It is also used as an oral contraceptive for prevention of pregnancy.
Do not increase the quantity than prescribed by the doctor. If the condition persists or worsens, or if you think you may have a serious medical problem, get medical help right away.
